EPUB files without copy protection, plus PDF and Word documents. Kindle (AZW, KFX) and other DRM-protected books cannot be opened.
Can I convert a whole book?
A full novel is 300,000 to 600,000 characters. The free plans convert up to 10,000 characters at a time, so a whole book needs Pro, or you can paste one chapter at a time.
Is it legal to make an audiobook from an ebook?
Converting a book you own for your own listening is generally fine. Sharing or selling the audio is not, unless the book is in the public domain or you hold the rights.
