What TTSFree is

TTSFree (ttsfree.com) is a no-registration text-to-speech site. You paste up to about 500 characters, pick a voice and download an MP3, and you can do that dozens of times a day. It allows personal and commercial use; paid plans from $5 a month (as of October 2026) raise the limits.

Why people look for a TTSFree alternative

Five hundred characters is a short paragraph. A script, an article or a chapter has to be cut into pieces, converted one at a time and joined back together in an audio editor.

How to convert a long text with ttsanything

  1. Paste the whole text above, or upload the file or link it comes from.
  2. Pick a language and voice.
  3. Press Read it aloud. Long texts are split and converted in parallel, and you get one MP3 at the end.

Questions

Is ttsanything affiliated with TTSFree?

No. ttsanything is independent and unconnected to ttsfree.com.

How does the limit compare?

TTSFree converts about 500 characters at a time, with dozens of conversions a day. ttsanything converts up to 3,000 characters at once as a guest (3,000 a day) or 10,000 with a free account (10,000 a day).

Can I use the audio commercially?

Not on our free plans. TTSFree says its free audio can be used commercially, so for free commercial use TTSFree is the better fit.
